Savvycom Pty. Ltd. has developed the following projects;
MetroCount/Trafix to CT5 conversion system
This application parses Queensland Parks visitor count data from a MetroCount/Trafix system and converted it into a CT5 file format for use in the new NSW NPWS Visitor Data system.
Visitor Survey Database
Developed for the Department of Environment and Resource Management. The Visitor Survey Database is a utility that allows system users to enter completed surveys provided in hard copy form and to later use this data for reporting. The reports can be rendered as bar graphs, pie charts and tables that can be used as graphical images within document distributions for National Parks.
The system allows for the definition of a number of core questions that match the current paper copy questionnaire that is given out to tourists for response. Additional questions can be defined and used by the system to gather responses. Only the core questions are currently used to report on. This is because the template must be set up to map the exported data to each question and also for the styling of that question, i.e. pie chart or bar graph and descriptions
Commercial Tour Operator
This is an ongoing project where we are engaging Tour operators and customers for specifications. This application will provide a central repository for Tourism opportunities allowing multiple operators to put up their Tours and allowing customers to book from the available pool of coming tours.
We have designed the system and developed the detail documentation and a modeled system on which we will produce a prototype for proof of concept. The database has been created and much of the backend administration system has been developed.
